Who is your favorite author, and which piece of writing from that author is your favorite?

I don't think i have a favorite author. I don't know if that is bad or good. I constantly feel convicted as an English major not having a favorite author. To be completely honest i should be reading more than i am now.

If i had to pick someone that a person would deem "worthy" then i would have to pick George Orwell. I've read two of his books, 1984 and Animal Farm, academically, one book, 1984, i have re-read on my own time. I've always been fascinated with dictators and communism. I can't really explain why, it is just something interesting i enjoy learning about. The fact that Orwell was to incorporate communism and the possible outcomes if we continue to allow these outbursts of communism in our world to happen is surreal and enjoyable to read. Because I've only read two of his books, i can't really say which of all his pieces are my favorite. So for now I'll have to choose 1984, due to the scary vibes i got from reading the book, and the emotions that stirred up during it.

How are you doing at this point in the semester?

Well i'm doing better than i was. I recently got blessed tremendously by God in my finanical area, which drove me the point of tears constantly through the day of its happening. As far as homework goes, i still feel uneasy about Old Testament... Everything else looks fun and interesting, but Old Testament just feels so boring. I try really hard to pay attention in class, but i just can't get intersted. I know that is bad because the class is learning about God, but its so much bulk information and the way it is presented makes it worse. I've also been going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier, except for today i didn't wake up for breakest for the first time in like 10 days. I'm kind of upset with that. I definatly am excited on being able to bless some people when i get my refund check, and i also want to buy a couple of things that i've been with out since i had them stolen here.

Well i am just rambling now, so i guess i'll bring this to a close. All in all i'm not doing horrible, but i definatly want to stay focused. I got such a big bulk of homework and projects out of the way and i don't ever want to accumlate so many of those again.
